Hope Place Neighborhood Engagement
Imagine having the opportunity to serve the nations without ever needing to get on a plane. A place where many languages are spoken and love is felt. This is what you will find at Hope Collaborative's Community Development Center, Hope Place. It is a place where everyone is welcome and no matter what door they may come through before arriving they will receive compassion, empathy, and support. Hope Place is located in the Southside neighborhood of South Louisville. It is reported that over 100 languages are spoken in the areas surrounding Hope Place!
We are forming outreach groups that will build relationships with our neighbors around Hope Place. Outreach groups will visit neighbors, ask about needs, pray with them and plan activities to build community and meet the needs of our neighbors.
There is flexibility on when groups would meet, but will likely take place on the weekends.

- Hope Collaborative background check
- Sign Photo Release and Confidentiality Agreement forms
- Complete orientation
Responsibilities
- Engage with neighbors in the South Louisville area through events and outreach opportunities.
Restrictions
- Volunteers must be 18 years of age or older.
