Mulching and Planting at Hope Place

Imagine having the opportunity to serve the nations without ever needing to get on a plane. A place where many languages are spoken and love is felt. This is what you will find at Hope Collaborative's Community Development Center, Hope Place.  It is a place where everyone is welcome and no matter what door they may come through before arriving they will receive compassion, empathy, and support.  Hope Place is located in the Southside neighborhood of South Louisville.  It is reported that over 100 languages are spoken in the areas surrounding Hope Place!

Spring is here and we are looking for individuals to help us brighten up the areas around Hope Place and make our property look welcoming and inviting.  We need individuals to come out and weeds pull, lay mulch and plant flowers.  We have received a grant and a donation to cover the cost of mulch and flowers, but we would ask volunteers to bring gloves, shovels and simple gardening tools for this project.
